I write music by the way. This song I wrote here:

has kind of grown on me. I'd appreciate comments if anyone is out there who values creativity. The worst thing about writing music is that other people can't even be bothered to listen at all. They love corporate sponsored stuff but otherwise, what is it? Why can't they listen to anything else? It's some strange thing I've never understood. The end result being I generally never even attempt to share my music with people. But occasionally I just enjoy my stuff so much that... (sigh) I just wish I'd get something other than perfect silence. I think everyone should try to be creative and we should all try to appreciate each other's creativity. Not just a very few corporate sponsored and mass produced full time artists.

Originally I thought the vocals on this song were awful, to the point it's actually a halfway aborted song actually. But it seems to have grown on me a bit. Was thinking to just permanently stick with instrumental music... but I don't know. Maybe there's at least a little something there to work with...

...(sigh) unfortunately you'd really have to listen to stuff over and over again before it started sounding good. In the old days that's how it worked. You went to the record store and bought something without even knowing what it sounded like and then you went home and had to learn to like it. Eventually you sometimes really found the effort worth the bother. And that's the best feeling; when you develop the ability to appreciate a new type of music...

But nowadays it doesn't work that way and if we don't immediately like something we never give it a second chance.

Anyway this means that only what's on the radio are you ever even potentially subjected to again despite not immediately liking it. And they usually only play the most vanilla and immediately accessible stuff there anyway.
